Junior Business & Data Analyst

In this role, you combine business analysis with hands-on digital development. You translate business needs into working solutions — from data pipelines and Python applications to process improvements and reporting tools. You work closely with stakeholders across the organization and take ownership of the digital solutions you build.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Analyse business needs across departments (Sales, Purchase, Logistics, Finance, HR)

• Map and document processes (BPMN, Lean mindset)

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

• Align processes and support continuous improvement initiatives

Data & Reporting

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

• Build data models and DAX measures (with guidance)

• Translate data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders

IT Systems & Support

• Work with core systems (Business Central, WMS, TMS, Slim4)

• Provide first- and second-line support

• Support testing, UAT and documentation of issues

Data & Digital Solutions (learning track)

• Develop and maintain Python applications, ETL pipelines and data integrations

• Build and own data validation, transformation and monitoring logic

• Design and develop data warehouse structures and Microsoft Fabric solutions

Projects & Innovation

• Coordinate and support internal projects

• Act as a developer and sparring partner within cross-functional project teams

• Use AI tools to improve documentation, analysis and testing

• Explore and prototype digital innovations, from proof-of-concept to production-ready solution

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Data or similar

• Ideally a first experience or internship in Business Analysis, Data or IT

• Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI and SQL

• Solid Python skills and hands-on experience with (or strong drive to develop in) ETL, APIs and data engineering

• Analytical, proactive and solution-oriented mindset

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams

• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)

• Team player with a hands-on and learning-oriented attitude
