As a SOM Representative, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling the incoming goods process. You will act as an extension of the Purchase Department and closely monitor that all orders placed are correctly delivered as agreed.
Your responsibilities include: Following up on schedules in cooperation with carriers, carefully coordinating time slots with the warehouse, checking all required paperwork and documents, and most importantly, ensuring accurate administrative tracking of order data.
Each day may differ, but some essential elements are:
Fully monitoring the inbound goods process from order processing to final delivery to the warehouse. This includes processing incoming orders in our system, coordinating transportation, as well as proactively resolving any logistical challenges and obstacles.
Managing orders on a daily basis as well as appropriately updating data in our systems.
Resolving issues when things go differently than planned.
Ensuring accurate, valid and complete information by using appropriate systems and proper application of procedures and systems.
Maintain strong communication with suppliers, carriers and colleagues within the ODC.

Profile:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a logistics-oriented field.
Knowledge of logistics and transportation management.
Hands-on mentality and practical attitude.
Logical and analytical thinking skills.
Excelling in accuracy and precision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Demonstrated core competencies in the areas of collaboration, problem solving, results orientation, showing initiative and proficiency in digital systems.
